Memberships

1. Memberships are personal to the member and are non-assignable, non-transferable and non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances a transfer may be considered; at the discretion of the gym’s management.
2. Members may only be eligible for a refund in case of medical or emergency circumstances only. A written notice of cancellation with explanation of medical or emergency circumstances must be provided for a refund request to be considered. Additional documentation may be requested by the Animus Sports Complex. Partial or full refunds for medical or emergency circumstances will be at the discretion of Animus Sports Complex after reviewing the request.
3. Members will not be refunded for any missed sessions.
4. One month memberships cannot be frozen.
5. 3 months memberships can be frozen for 7 days.
6. 6 months memberships can be frozen for 16 days.
7. 1 year memberships can be frozen for 30 days.
8. You must inform the management of Animus Sports Complex in case you wish to freeze your membership.

Physical Condition of Members

• The member warrants and represents that he/she is in good physical condition and that he/she knows of no medical or other reason why he/she is not capable of engaging in an active or passive exercise program and that such exercise would not be detrimental to his/her health, safety, comfort or physical condition.
• It is the member’s responsibility to update the gym in writing with any information that might affect their ability to engage safely in physical activity in the gym.
• The member shall not use any gym facilities whilst suffering from any infections or contagious illness, disease or other ailment such as open cuts, abrasions, open sores or minor infection, where there is a risk that such use may be detrimental to the health, safety, comfort or physical condition of other members.
• Members exercise and use the facilities at their own risk and are advised to consult their physician prior to commencing any type of physical exercise.

Expulsion of Members

Animus Sports Complex may terminate the membership of any member:

• Without notice and with immediate effect if a member’s conduct, whether or not such conduct is the subject of complaint by another member or members, such that in the reasonable opinion of the Management, it is harmful to the character and/or interests of the gym.
• If a member is rude, aggressive or in any way disrespectful to another member or to any of the Animus Sports Complex employees, this includes foul/bad language.
• If any monthly membership fees or any other fees such as Personal Training etc. remain unpaid after the due date for payment.

A member whose membership is terminated by the Management shall forfeit all the privileges of membership with immediate effect without claim of any refund. Partial refund may be issued if the management deems suitable.

Health and Safety

1. Members are requested to return all portable equipment after use including free weights and dumbbells to the racks provided.
2. Members are to only engage in the exercises provided by the coach/ instructor. Members are fully liable for any injuries that may result in case they engage in exercises that are not provided/ supervised by the instructor.
3. Fitness Instructors/ coaches are authorized to stop anyone from exercising if in their opinion the member/guest is exercising in a manner that may result in personal injury and or injury to others. Users must abide by the guidance of the Fitness Instructors.
4. Smoking is not permitted in any part of the gym.
5. Members or guests may not join the classes/ enter the facility whilst under the influence of alcohol, narcotics or other mood altering substances.
6. Games or activities which are disturbing or dangerous to others are not permitted. Sound equipment, such as radios are not permitted except with the use of headphones.

Operating Hours

Animus Sports Complex normal hours of operation are based on the availability of class timings. The Management reserves the right to adjust the schedule of the classes/ operation hours.

The Management reserves the right to adjust the hours for the purpose of cleaning, decorating, repairs, and special private functions and holidays. The Management shall endeavor to give reasonable notice of any change in the hours of operation.

Members are requested to leave the gym premises punctually at the time of closing.

Dress Code

All members and guests are required to wear proper gym attire when exercising and to dress modestly when working out. Members are required to take their shoes off in the exercise area. Members should remain modestly and appropriately dressed at all times, including in the bathrooms and changing area. Nudity is not permitted and members are requested to use the private changing rooms provided.

Gym Facilities

• Animus Sports Complex accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to a member’s personal belongings kept in the premises for any reason whatsoever.
• The use of mobile phones with camera features and/or any other types of visual recorders in changing rooms is strictly prohibited. Members breaching this rule will be handed over to the authorities to be dealt with accordingly.
