Animus Sports Complex, Janabiyah, Kingdom of Bahrain, runs the gym and the Animus app and decides what is recorded in them. This page says what that is, in plain words.
What we record, and why
| Your name, mobile number and email address | To know who you are, to sign you in with a code sent to your email, and so the gym can reach you about your classes. |

| Date of birth and gender | They decide which classes you may take (Kids, Pre-Teen, Teen, adult) and who may attend women-only sessions. |
| Your children, if you add them | A parent's account holds each child's name, date of birth and gender so the gym can place them in the right class and price the family package. |
| Your package and payments | What you are on, when it runs, what was taken at the front desk and by whom. Payments are recorded by staff; the app never takes card details. |
| Bookings and attendance | Classes you book, cancel or attend, so places are fair and your balance is right. |
| Entry at the door | Every attempt to open the door, whether it opened, and why. It is how the gym knows who is in the building. |
| Personal training | Your enquiry, the coach you asked, the sessions agreed and when they are scheduled. |
| Notices sent to you | Booking confirmations, cancellations and reminders shown in the app. |
There is no advertising, no tracking across other apps or websites, and nothing is sold. The app asks for no location, no contacts and no health data.
Who can see it
- You see your own records, and a parent sees their children's.
- Coaches see who is in their classes and their own personal-training clients.
- The front desk and the gym's administrators see what they need to run the gym, and their changes are logged.
- Other members see only a first name on a class list, and only if you have not asked to be anonymous.
Where it is kept
In a Supabase database hosted in Mumbai, India (ap-south-1), with access controlled per person by the database itself. Sign-in codes are sent by email through Resend. The app is distributed through Apple and Google. Backups are held by the gym.
How long it is kept
Your account and its history stay while you are a member. When an account is deleted, the personal details are removed as described on the deletion page; records the gym must keep for its accounts, such as payments, stay without your contact details.
Your rights
Under Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law you may ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted. Ask at the front desk and the gym will answer within the time the law allows (ten working days for correction or erasure).
Children
Children do not have their own login. A parent's account holds their details and books for them, and a parent can ask the front desk to remove a child at any time.
